Shop and Roll consolidates its position as Araven’s retail brand

Araven Group reached a turnover of 64.9 million euros in 2022, 12.3% more than the previous year and 19.2% more than the year before the pandemic, all in a macroeconomic environment marked by war, the energy crisis, inflation and political crises. These results are growing at the same time as the company’s geographical, being currently present in more than 87 countries around the world.

Its two business lines have grown in double digits: professional products for foodservice, and equipment for retail. In this second sales channel, Araven Group presented the new Shop & Roll brand, which brings together a wide range of equipment solutions for commercial establishments and manufacturers: trolleys, baskets, visual communication, visual merchandising and POS.

Shop and Roll has always been at the forefront of its sector. After the success achieved by the Oceanis range in 2020 with which it was recognized as one of the 20 most important innovations in retail in the nationalscene, and which consisted in the manufacture of carts and baskets from recycled plastic coming from recycled fishing nets; this year it has presented at the Euroshop fair its innovative smart cart, Loop Connect, which incorporates technological devices that allow to capture data of great value for brands and establishments. Thanks to these devices implemented in the trolleys, it is possible to carry out advanced analyses by following the complete path of each shopper in the store.

Other new products in the Shop&Roll line recently launched on the market are the following: the 45L basket, the trolley with fixed wheel for the American market, and the Loop 200L trolley with bottle holder.

Among the company’s strategic lines and future plans, the aim is to continue with the R&D&I investment plan, to continue increasing the product portfolio and introducing new technologies,to increase international presence, to improve and renew purchasing, manufacturing and logistics processes to be more efficient and cost-competitive, and to seek the lowest environmental impact in all activities.
